Position: Hose Assembly Technician
Location: Middlesbrough
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview:

As a Mobile Hose Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for providing on-site hydraulic hose repair and replacement services to our valued clients. You will be equipped with the necessary tools and training to diagnose, repair, and install hydraulic hoses in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly and testing of hose assemblies to customer specification. 
• Serving at the trade counter, making hoses to pattern. 
• Attending customer sites to perform emergency hose replacement and hydraulic components in response to breakdowns with our diverse range of customers while maintaining full HSE procedures. 
• Maintain and keep clean all work areas, ensuring all waste is stored correctly. 
• Be aware of use and maintenance of safety equipment and fully utilise all safety items within the legal and H&S requirements. 
• To provide support with stock orders in line with Operation Managers requirements. 
• Attend all weekly/monthly staff meetings. 
• Attend any training courses as deemed necessary. 

In addition to these duties, some warehouse assistants may have additional responsibility for:

• Liaising with manufacturers, distributors, and customers. 
• Arranging carriage or delivering goods to the customer or outlet. 
• Quality control of goods in and/or goods out. 
• Maintenance of stable conditions or temperatures. 

Qualifications / Skills / Experience required:

• Experience in a mechanical industry or engineering background is preferred. 
• Good mechanical knowledge. 
• Basic IT skills. 
• Full UK driver’s license.
